Connected Apps and MCP Notice
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. Connected Apps
Vettara may let approved users connect Google, Microsoft, email, calendar, ChatGPT MCP, browser extension, or other integrations. Some integrations are quarantined or limited to internal beta users until legal, security, and product gates are complete.
2. OAuth and Tokens
Connected apps use OAuth or similar authorization where available. Vettara stores access metadata and encrypted refresh tokens only where needed to provide the integration. Users can disconnect supported grants from Vettara settings or the provider account dashboard.
3. Google Services
Google sign-in requests account identity only. Connecting Gmail separately allows Vettara to send user-directed outreach and read replies in Vettara-created outreach threads. Connecting Google Calendar separately allows Vettara to read primary-calendar events. If the user enables Google Meet transcript capture, Vettara can also read Meet metadata, transcript entries, and Meet-created notes files attached to those meetings.
These integrations use separate, contextual OAuth actions. The exact Google data access, storage, sharing, deletion, and Limited Use commitments are described in the Privacy Policy. Users can disconnect an integration from the relevant Vettara settings screen or revoke it from their Google Account.
4. Microsoft Services
Microsoft sign-in requests basic account identity. Connecting Outlook separately allows Vettara to send user-directed messages and read replies needed for the related outreach workflow. Connecting Microsoft Calendar separately allows Vettara to read calendar event metadata for meeting sync. The permissions are requested in context and can be revoked from Vettara or the user's Microsoft account.
5. ChatGPT MCP
ChatGPT MCP access requires Vettara OAuth, an approved Vettara account, active subscription entitlement where required, and workspace authorization. ChatGPT visibility does not make Vettara data public. Users can only access projects, searches, candidates, exports, and actions that their Vettara account is authorized to use.
6. Email and Browser Extension Features
Outreach, Email Finder, email sending, and browser side-panel features remain feature gated for public users unless Vettara deliberately enables them after legal, security, and beta review. Users must comply with applicable marketing, privacy, anti-spam, recruitment, platform, and suppression-list requirements.
